Privacy Policy
Last updated 31 July 2026. This explains what data Nixlab Studio collects and how it's used.
This Privacy Policy explains how Nixlab Studio (SSM: 003831759-U) ("Nixlab", "we", "us") collects, uses, and protects your data when you use our website, subscribe to Launch, or otherwise engage our services.
1.Data We Collect
Information you provide
When you subscribe to Launch or contact us, we collect the information you submit directly: your name, email, business name, industry, business context, and (for Launch) the logo and up to 5 images you upload for your site build. Providing this information is necessary for us to build and deliver your Launch site; if you do not provide it, we will not be able to complete your build.
Payment information
Payments are processed by Stripe. Nixlab does not receive or store your full card details. Stripe handles payment collection and PCI-compliant storage directly. We retain only what Stripe provides for billing purposes, such as subscription status and payment history.
Usage data
We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use our site (pages viewed, general location, device type). This data is aggregated and not used to identify you individually. On the Launch pages specifically, we also use Microsoft Clarity, which records session behaviour (clicks, scrolls, page navigation) to help us understand and improve the page. We use Google reCAPTCHA on our forms to prevent spam and automated abuse.
2.How We Use Your Data
We use the information you provide to build and maintain your Launch site, process billing, respond to enquiries, send service-related emails (checkout confirmation, build instructions, invoices, launch notification, review requests), and improve our services.
We do not sell your data to third parties.
3.Third Parties We Use
We rely on the following third-party processors to deliver our services. Each handles a specific part of the data described above:
| Provider | Purpose |
|---|---|
| Stripe | Payment processing and subscription billing |
| Supabase | Storage of your questionnaire data, uploaded logo/images, and subscription status |
| Resend | Sending transactional and service emails |
| Google Analytics | Aggregated website usage analytics |
| Microsoft Clarity | Session recording and behaviour analytics on the Launch pages |
| Google reCAPTCHA | Spam and bot protection on our forms |
Each provider processes data under its own privacy policy and security standards. These providers may store or process your data outside Malaysia, including in the United States or other jurisdictions where they operate infrastructure. By using our services, you consent to this transfer, which is necessary for us to provide Launch, process payments, and operate our website.
4.Data Retention
We retain your questionnaire data, uploaded assets, and account information for as long as your subscription is active. If your subscription is cancelled and your site is shut down under our cancellation policy, we will delete your uploaded logo, images, and questionnaire data within a reasonable period following shutdown, except where we are required to retain billing records for accounting or legal purposes.
5.Cookies
Our site uses cookies from Google Analytics to measure site usage, and (on the Launch pages) Microsoft Clarity for session behaviour analytics and Google reCAPTCHA for spam protection. You can disable cookies in your browser settings; this will not affect your ability to use core site functionality, though analytics may be limited and some form protections may not work as intended.
6.Your Rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by emailing inquiry@nixlab.my. We will respond within a reasonable timeframe. Note that deleting certain data (for example, your questionnaire submission) may affect our ability to continue building or maintaining your site while your subscription is active.
7.Data Security
We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data, including relying on providers (Stripe, Supabase, Resend) that maintain their own industry-standard security practices. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8.Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be notified to active subscribers by email. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the current version.
9.Contact
Questions about this Privacy Policy, or requests relating to your data, can be sent to inquiry@nixlab.my or via the contact page.
